Thermal R&D System on a 2001

The Thermal R&D system is constructed of mirror polished 2 1/4"
T304 stainless steel tubing. Add to that a polisher resonator, and Straight-through dual
outlet muffler, and you will want to spend more time looking at the bottom of your car.
Thermal also includes their "Anti-Reversion" cone found in the
"Stealth" systems. This helps to mellow out the tone and give you a more
pleasant sound.
No joke, this cat-back is so highly polished you could shave in it. It
is almost a shame to bolt it on. I said "almost", because once you turn the key
on this new exhaust, you are rewarded with the sweetest sound you ever heard from a
Saturn. We have taken our Project SC2 with the Thermal System to countless shows. We have
not found a single Saturn owner who didn't like the sound. You know you are a true
"car nut" when you would rather turn off the radio and listen to the engine. The
only complaint about this system has been the price, but you pay for quality. All joints
on this system use two bolt flanges with gaskets. Most other systems utilize "slip
joints" and clamps to lower cost.
If you are looking for a "show quality" system, this is it. This system
should outlast your Saturn.
